We are looking for two people to join our team of seven at our craft brewery in Llandudno, North Wales. The roles are part of the Government Kickstart scheme and are paid placements for a period of 6 months working 3 days per week. The successful candidate will have a basic knowledge of craft beer with the potential to quickly learn about the brewery and the beers we produce.

The role will be based in the brewery warehouse and duties will include:

  • Serving customers at the on-site retail shop

  • Making up orders for courier and direct delivery

  • Assisting during packaging days (e.g. boxing up cans, palletising kegs)

  • Keg washing

  • Organising stock in warehouse / cold room

  • General housekeeping / cleaning

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a basic knowledge of craft beer and knowledge of some beer styles

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn more about craft beer

  • Be good with people and will have excellent customer service skills

  • Be hard working and able to learn on the job

  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude

  • Able to safely move 40kg+ kegs and 6kg cases

  • Be able to repeat the same process consistently and accurately

Essential skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Basic level of IT skills

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a customer facing / customer support role

Working Hours:

  • 24 hours per week over 3 days

  • Placement 1 - Monday 9am to 5:30pm, Tuesday 9am to 5:30pm, Wednesday 9am to 5:30pm

  • Placement 2 - Monday 9am to 5:30pm, Thursday 9am to 5:30pm, Friday 9am to 5:30pm

The Kickstart Scheme is a government scheme to help get young people back into work. We are creating two new 6-month job placements (24 hours per week over 3 days) to start at Wild Horse on 12th May. To be eligible for the Kickstart scheme, applicants must age 18-24 and on Universal Credit. Applicants must submit applications through their work coach. Closing date for applications is 25th April and interviews will be held w/c 26th April.
